President, Chief Executive Officer, & Chairman
Jay Bray was appointed to Nationstar's board in 2012, and was unanimously elected Chairman in July 2016. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Nationstar since 2012 and President since June 2015. From May 2011 to February 2012, he was the company's Executive Vice President and CFO.
In addition, he has served as the President of Nationstar Mortgage LLC since July 2011, the CEO of Nationstar Mortgage LLC since October 2011, and CFO of Nationstar Mortgage LLC from May 2000 until September 2012. He has been the director of another subsidiary, Nationstar Capital Corporation, since March 2010.
Jay has close to twenty-five years of experience in the mortgage industry, both in originations and servicing. From 1988 to 1994, he worked with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as an audit manager from 1992 to 1994.
From 1994 to 2000, Jay held a variety of leadership roles at Bank of America and predecessor entities, where he managed the Asset Backed Securitization process for mortgage-related products, developed and implemented a secondary execution strategy and profitability plan, and managed investment banking relationships, secondary marketing operations and investor relations. He also led the portfolio acquisition, pricing and modeling group.
Jay holds a B.A.A. in Accounting from Auburn University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia.
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Robert Stiles has served as Nationstar's Executive Vice President and CFO since May 2014. He holds the same position at Xome, Inc., which he joined in January 2013, and at Nationstar Mortgage LLC, where he has served as Executive Vice President since May 2013.
Prior to joining Xome, Robert served as the CFO of Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A., a publicly traded real estate solutions provider. He served as Director & Controller for Centerline Capital Group, a real estate finance company, from 2007 to 2009; Vice President, Assistant Controller for Viacom from 2006 to 2007, and has served in various senior financial roles at Time Warner Inc.
Earlier in his career, Robert served for eight years in various positions at KPMG LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Columbia University, as well as a B.S. in Accounting with a concentration in Information Systems from James Madison University.
Executive Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer
Steve Covington joined Nationstar in 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. He has over 33 years of mortgage industry experience, most recently serving as an Executive Director of Risk Management within Morgan Stanley's residential mortgage business. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Steve was a Senior Vice President and Director of Quality Control and Compliance at First Horizon Home Loans and Fleet Mortgage Corporation. He also spent over a decade as a federal banking regulator at the OCC, OTS, and FDIC.
Steve holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas, and a B.S. in Banking and Finance from the University of South Carolina.
Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer
For over twenty years, Kevin Dahlstrom has led marketing, product strategy and e-commerce for major financial organizations.
Most recently, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Elevate, a leading online provider of personal loans. While there, Kevin developed and implemented a multi-channel, data-driven customer acquisition strategy responsible for adding more than one million customers. He was also a key member of an executive team responsible for that company's dramatic revenue growth, which averaged over 50% annually for nine years.
Prior to Elevate, Kevin held senior positions at several high-growth Internet and software companies in Texas and California. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Executive Vice President, Originations
Tony Ebers joined Nationstar in 2015, bringing twenty-five years of experience from key leadership positions in mortgage lending, servicing and real estate transaction-related services.
Most recently, Tony served as the Originations Division President at ServiceLink, a Black Knight Company. Prior to ServiceLink, he served as Executive Vice President of Mortgage Lending and Servicing at OneWest Bank from 2009 to 2015. He also served as an Executive Vice President and COO at IndyMac Bank from 2002 to 2009, managing retail banking, consumer lending, mortgage operations and home loan servicing.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration, Finance and Banking with an emphasis in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Executive Vice President & Chief Customer Officer
Dana Dillard has over twenty-five years of experience in mortgage servicing, with a strong focus on customers and default. As Nationstar's Chief Customer Officer, Dana oversees industry relations, nonprofit engagement, and our all-important Customer Relations team.
Prior to joining Nationstar, Dana worked at GMAC RESCAP, where she managed the REO, Liquidations, and Community Outreach teams during the peak of the housing crisis. She has held other senior leadership positions at EMC Mortgage, Bank of America Mortgage, and Lomas Mortgage.
One of the proudest moments in Dana's career was when she led outreach efforts at HOPENOW from 2008-2010. During this time, she traveled across the country talking with hundreds of struggling families. For that work, she received the Five Star Institutes Humanitarian of the Year award in 2009.
Dana is a Dallas native who holds degrees in Journalism and Business from Southern Methodist University. She lives in Colleyville, Texas with her husband and two children.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF BUSINESS & ANALYTICS OFFICER
Ramesh Lakshminarayanan joined Nationstar in as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. He began serving in his current capacity as Executive Vice President and Chief Business and Analytics Officer in 2017. Mr. Lakshiminarayan is responsible for translating industry data into valuable business insights.
Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Lakshminarayanan worked for JPMorgan Chase from 2006 to December 2011, where he served as Chief Risk Officer Retail/Chief Risk Officer of Chase Home Lending and from January 2012 to June 2012 as Head of Capital Market Operations for Mortgage Banking.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Lakshminarayanan worked for CitiFinancial as Chief Risk Officer of CitiFinancial Mortgages and from 2004 to 2006 as Group Chief Risk Officer of Consumer Finance North America.
Mr. Lakshminarayanan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Madras Christian College, India, and is a Fellow Member of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Chief Audit Executive
Glenn Onstad has served as Nationstar's Chief Audit Executive since March 2016, bringing over twenty-seven years of internal audit, risk and finance experience, with emphasis in the mortgage industry since 2004. Prior to joining Nationstar, Glenn served in various internal audit leadership positions, including Chief Audit Executive for Ocwen Financial Corporation, Senior Audit Director for Capital One Financial Services, and SVP, Governance, Risk and Control for Bank of America Home Loans.
Before entering the mortgage and financial services industry in 2004, Glenn served in internal audit and financial leadership roles in the consumer products, regulated electric utility, telecommunication and public accounting industries dating back to 1989. He earned both MBA and BBA degrees from University of Texas, Arlington, and holds CPA, CIA, CISA, and CMA credentials.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF RISK OFFICER
Mihir Patel joined Nationstar in 2017 as its Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.
Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Patel worked for Capital One Bank from 2008 to 2016, where he served as Deputy Chief Risk Officer Enterprise Risk Management from 2013 to 2016. Previously he was Operational Risk Management Officer at Capital One Bank and held senior risk positions at PNC Bank.
Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Washington, a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law and a Masters of Business Administration from Duquesne University.
Executive Vice President, Servicing
Michael Rawls was named Executive Vice President of Servicing in June 2015. Mike is responsible for leading Nationstar's loan servicing operations for their traditional mortgage portfolio, as well as the firm's reverse mortgage portfolio.
Since joining the company in 2000, he has held key positions in both mortgage servicing and origination. Prior to joining Nationstar, Mike served in leadership roles at Banc One Financial Services from 1997 to 1999 and at Household Financial Services from 1991 to 1997.
Mike received a B.A. in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan College and has over twenty years of experience in mortgage operations.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Sridhar Sharma heads our Office of Technology and is responsible for applications and technology operations at Nationstar. Sridhar brings more than eighteen years of experience in leading technology and product engineering functions. Most recently, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Ugam Solutions in Dallas. Previously, he served as the Chief Evangelist and Architect for the Products and Platforms group at Infosys.
Sridhar earned a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Mysore, India, and an MBA from Cornell University.
Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
Over the course of his career, Tran Taylor has developed best-in-class people solutions and aligned HR initiatives to meet core business needs. Prior to joining Nationstar in 2015, Tran served as the Chief People Officer at Travelocity, one of the world's largest online travel companies, helping transform the organization to a culture of innovation focused on the customer experience.
Prior to that, he held key Human Resources positions at Alliance Data, The Home Depot, Raytheon, Westinghouse and General Motors. Tran has served as a member of the Human Resources Policy Institute and the Corporate Leadership Council. He has also served as corporate executive advisor to multiple committees including United Negro College Fund-Dallas, the Marriott Bridges Advisory Council-Dallas and the C2C (College to Corporation) Council.
Tran received a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a master's degree in public administration from West Virginia University. He has also completed the Executive Strategic Human Resources Planning series at the University of Michigan Business School. He remains actively engaged in executive human resource speaking engagements and forums.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Anthony (Tony) Villani has served as Nationstar's Executive Vice President and General Counsel since 2012. He also holds the same position at Nationstar Mortgage LLC, which he joined in October 2011 as an Executive Vice President. Tony also served as Nationstar's Secretary from February to August of 2012.
Prior to joining Nationstar, Tony was Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he served as the managing attorney for Litton Loan Servicing LP, a Goldman Sachs company, from June 2008 until September 2011. He has also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of EMC Mortgage Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc.
Tony holds a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1983 and the Texas Bar in 1989.
